This is a collection of lovely pieces from Plant Series by Callum Murray. All of the pieces are by Callum and all of the performances are by me.

I was drawn to these pieces because they communicate simple ideas and provide rich outcomes. Callum also expressed that the series explores an approach of quantity over quality, an interest that I share.

The cover art is a photo of my realisation of no.12 Rosa Laxa, a score requiring a page of A4 paper, a ruler and a pencil. I thought it looked cool as a negative.

I think that recording is as much a time capsule as it is a delivery method, and for that reason I have tended to use what I have to hand rather than wait for an opportunity to use better equipment. The added layers of interest from the context of the recording also gives each track a separation from the other tracks, you're brought into a different physical space and transported to a different time.

All proceeds will be split between me and Callum.
